Online reg Deepankur Gupta’s journey came to an end in the Big Bounty NLH event. The poker pro locked horns with Harikrishna Reddy (8c 9h) who was on the small blind. Reddy went all-in and Gupta (8d 8s) called with a shorter stack. The dealer fanned out a board of J ♦ J ❤ A ♦ 4 ♠ 9 ♦ . This gave Reddy two pairs (JJ, 99) and Gupta busted as his pocket eights couldn’t hold water. Sadly Gupta turned the bubble boy in this WPT Prime India 2023 Big Bounty NLH tourney. Gupta busted at the 10th spot for ₹66K.
