Deepak Prakash leads Day 1C of GameChanger 2.0

It just keeps getting better for GameChanger 2.0 INR 2 Crore GTD. As the name suggests, it’s the second edition of this massive, multi-flight online poker tournament on PokerBaazi and the fields have just kept rising so far. Day 1A attracted 1,143 entries, Day 1B attracted 1,182 entries and last night, the third starting flight attracted a massive field of 1,261 entries.

This takes the overall field to 3,586 entries and we’re just a couple of hundred entries short from beating the field registered in the inaugural GameChanger in February this year, won by Prashanth Sekar. Another INR 63+ Lakh was added to the prize pool last night but since the buy-in was halved to INR 5,500 this time, we are yet to cross the advertised guarantee.

Day 1C was no different from the first couple of flights, kicking off at 8pm and wrapping up by 1am this morning. By the end of the scheduled time of play, 116 survivors bagged chips to return on Day 2, taking the overall list of survivors to 342 players. Deepak Prakash aka ‘pokerroller’ fired 5 bullets but finally got it right on the 5th attempt, ending the day as the chip leader.

Prakash was up against some of the best names in the business, but he managed to chip up constantly, ending as the overall chip leader too, with a stack of 615,387 chips currently. Some other known names to progress were Sandeep Varma (539k), Apratim Sharma (420k), Prashanth Sekar (372k), Anurag Srivastava (316k), Sahil Agarwal (288k), Nishant Sharma (288k), Sumit Sapra (183k), Aditya Sushant (166k), IOPC Main Event winner Srihari Bang (163k), Guruprasad Gupta (112k), Vinay B (100k), Siddhanth Kapoor (86k), and others.
