Day 1 Of 25K Kick-Off Comes To An End; Kripalani Leading

Day 1 of the 25K Kick-Off event at the ongoing India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 has come to an end after nearly eight hours of play. The tournament witnessed a field of 226 entries who battled it out to survive the day and make it in the money (ITM). Remember top prize of over ₹13,31,200 awaits on Day 2.

Day 1 of 25K Kick-Off witnessed some unparalleled action and drama unfold at Casino Vegas in Nepal. Several top names were seen grinding at this event, which included Spartan Poker Pro Nikita Luther, Gutshot pros Anant Purohit and Dhirendra Kumar, Arsh Grover, Kunal Patni, MPL Poker Pro Dhaval Mudgal, FTS 3.0 champ Ankit Wadhawan, Shardul Parthasarathi, Ashish Ahuja, among others.

Day 1 concluded with the end of Level 18, blinds 5,000/10,000. Top 29 players have ensured an ITM spot and a min-cash of ₹39,000. The survivors have bagged and tagged their chips and will resume the play for a share of the ₹55,60,000 prize pool on Day 2. Anil Kumar was the unfortunate bubble boy in this event as he busted at the 30^th spot, just before the ITM.

Football lover Siddhanth Kripalani is leading the pack and will resume tomorrow with the biggest stack. Other players who have made it in the money include Luther, Siddarth Singhvi, Laksh Pal Singh, Grover, Mudgal, Kumar Vatsal among others.
