Chino Rheem Wins 2025 PGT Mixed Games Title; SHRB Mixed Games Kicks Off

Chino Rheem captured his second PGT Mixed Games series title, topping the series leaderboard with 384 points. Rheem cashed three times for $348,500 total, winning Event #4: $10,200 8-Game for $195,500.

Rheem previously won the PGT Mixed Games II in the second half of 2023. Through four editions of the PGT Mixed Games series, Rheem has two titles, and Maxx Hoffman and Dan Zack each have one.

For topping the series leaderboard, Rheem earned a $10,000 PGT Passport bonus prize.

Closing out the PGT Mixed Games series was the $25,300 10-Game Championship. In that event, James Obst topped the field of 56 entries.

The run of mixed games isn’t over for the PokerGO Tour. On Thursday, the first-ever $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl Mixed Games began with 21 players in competition for the largest buy-in mixed games tournament in history. 

Chino Rheem gained widespread recognition in 2008 when he made the final table of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, finishing in seventh place and earning over $1.7 million. 

Rheem has also found success on the World Poker Tour (WPT), becoming one of the few players to win three WPT titles. His victories include the 2008 Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic, the 2013 WPT Championship, and the 2016 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Finale. These wins cemented his reputation as one of the most accomplished players in the WPT’s history.

The 2025 PokerGO Tour (PGT) Mixed Games series took place from February 25 to March 5 at the PokerGO Studio in ARIA Las Vegas. This event featured seven tournaments, each highlighting various poker disciplines, attracting a diverse group of players eager to showcase their versatility and skill.

One of the standout performances came from Daniel Negreanu, who secured a victory in Event #6: $15,200 Dealer’s Choice, earning $292,500. His win marked his first title of 2025 and added to his impressive poker resume.
