Caitlin Comeskey, Jason Koon Are Newest PokerStars Ambassadors

PokerStars, one of the biggest names in the poker industry, has announced two new brand ambassadors: Caitlin Comeskey and Jason Koon. Both individuals have shown their exemplary skills on the felts several times. The sign-ups are unique and represent the different kinds of poker players who are active in the industry.

Jason Koon has been playing poker for decades and introduced himself to the game back in 2006. According to reports, he started playing live events in 2008 and won a tournament at the Spring Championship of Online Poker in 2008, earning over $300,000.

Koon has played in almost all of the biggest poker series, including the WSOP and WPT, since the late 2000s. He has, in fact, been a regular feature at the WSOP felts since 2009 and has been in the money in their events as late as 2024, when he placed 17th at the Online Bracelet Event #24 at the World Series of Poker—WSOP Online Bracelet Events (MI/NJ/NV), Online. He is immensely popular and ranks 4th in the Hendon Mob All-Time Money List.

Comeskey comes across as a unique player, as she mixes humour with her poker play, while Koon has gained legendary status due to his high-stakes play. At the 2023 Global Poker Awards, she won the Best Short-Form Content Creator award.

Caitlin Comeskey x PokerStars Announcement

Comeskey has been playing poker for a while. She saw her first cash in 2022 at the $600 No Limit Hold’em—The Monthly Monster, at the Millionaire Spring Mayhem Poker Series, Round Rock, when she took home $1,030, ranking 254th. She saw her highest cash in 2022 when she ranked 2nd at Event #7, $200 No Limit Hold’em – Ladies, taking home $60,035.

Both these brand ambassadors will get multiple chances to appear at the PokerStars series all around the world. This will not only give them a great experience but also allow other aspiring and well-known poker players to hit it up with them at the felts. All in all, poker fans should gear up for some interesting activities planned around these by PokerStars.

They earlier announced four of India’s most enterprising poker players, including Goonjan Mall, as their brand ambassadors.

Being a brand ambassador for a particular poker company benefits both the company and the individual. While the poker player has more chances to play and win, the company has a ready-made fan base to which it can promote its products. Also, with mainstream celebrities like Randeep Hooda joining the poker bandwagon, the game gets a lot more exposure than it has ever had.
