Brandon Wilson Wins Back-To-Back Events at PGT Last Chance Series

Brandon Wilson is $582,500 richer after winning back-to-back events at the PokerGO Tour Last Chance (PGT Last Chance) series in Las Vegas. On Monday, Wilson topped the 119-entry field in Event #3: $10,500 NL Hold’em to win $297,500. He followed that victory up with another one on Tuesday when he bested the 114-entry field in Event #4: $10,500 NL Hold’em for $285,000.

Wilson’s tremendous run puts him atop the PGT Last Chance series leaderboard, where he is a favourite to win a Dream Seat to gain entry into the PGT $1,000,000 Championship.

Wilson has been quite active at the felts since his first cash, which happened in 2021 when he stood 80th at Event #88 of the DeepStack Championship Poker Series in Vegas. Since then, he has been prominently placed at various poker events, including the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in 2021 and 2022 and the World Poker Tour (WPT) in 2023. At the time of writing this article, his best live cash was at Event #42 of the Seminole Hard Rock Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open (RRPO), when he took home $602,900.

The PGT Last Chance series is the final open qualifying competition for the PGT $1,000,000 Championship. At the end of the series, the top 40 players, as ranked by the PGT leaderboard, earn entry into the $1,000,000 freeroll championship event. Plus, the top three point earners from the series leaderboard who are not in the top 40 of the season-long leaderboard also get entry.
