Player ‘borntotrouble’ Wins Sunday SuperStack On Spartan

Spartan Poker hosts Spartan Super Series (SSS) each month, a weeklong tournament. And it was just yesterday that this INR 4.7+ Crore series came to a standstill. The SSS Millionaire INR 1.5+ Crores GTD also halted after crowning its ultimate winner Gokul Raj who walked away with an enormous sum of prize money along with the Millionaire title!. And here is a complete summary of SSS Day 7…

SSS Event #37 INR 1.30 Lakhs GTD

The first tournament of last day saw a buy-in of INR 330 by 431 players entering the tournament. Top 31 places received a share from the prize pool of a min-cash INR 1,144. It was Suhas Shinde aka ‘ACE_Kicker’ who added a valuable title to his poker cabinet after winning INR 20,290. 4 players enter the final hand of the tournament and eventually settle for a deal. Shinde carrying the larger stack takes away the title and adds a valuable amount to his poker bankroll.

SSS Event #38 Afternoon Showdown INR 4 lakhs GTD

On Friday, Mithun Mahesh aka ‘Intuitionnn’ won back-to-back title on SSS Day 5. Once again, Mahesh powered through a field of 192 entries, registering for a buy-in of INR 2,200. The prize pool was eventually shared among the top 17 places, receiving a paycheck of min-cash INR 6,280. Mahesh defeated ‘PokerStars090’ in heads-up and walked away with healthy prize money.

In Level #34, blinds at 5,000/10,000 ante 1,250, both players enter the final hand of the tournament. Mahesh (Ah 2s) with 1 million chips against ‘PokerStars090’ (Jd Qh). Both put their entire stack on the table while the board runs 6d 2h As 4d Qd. The former shows his pairs of Aces and Twos while the latter holds a single pair of Queens.

SSS Event #39 Afternoon Hi-Fi INR 3 Lakhs GTD

Event #36 runner-up Naren Purohit aka ‘IMUNAGI’ won the Afternoon Hi-Fi after defeating ‘stupefy’ with Ace high and King kicker. Purohit powered through a field of 332 players, all of whom entered for a buy-in of INR 1,100. The tournament saw the guarantee being surpassed to create a prize pool of INR 3,32,000 which was later distributed among the top 27 places.

SSS Event #40 Sunday SuperStack INR 30 Lakhs GTD

Sundays are reserved for Sunday SuperStack INR 30 Lakhs GTD which has a buy-in of INR 5,500. Attracting a massive field of 770 entries, a prize pool of INR 3,50,000 was drawn which was shared among the top 71 places receiving a paycheck of min-cash INR 14,630. Over 9+ hours into the tournament, Vikranth Varma aka ‘borntotrouble’ rose as the ultimate champion defeating Dhaval Mudgal aka ‘MandirYahinBanayenge’ in heads-up. Read all about it here.

SSS Event #41 Electric Big Daddy INR 6 Lakhs GTD

With a buy-in of INR 1,650, the final tournament of SSS registered 459 players. The guarantee was surpassed, creating a prize pool of INR 6.8 Lakhs which was later shared among the top 39 places, receiving a paycheck of INR 4,750. Powering through this field was Myron Pereira aka ‘mehhhhh’ and bagging the first-place prize money. The final hand saw a 3-way deal. With Pereira carrying the larger stack ships the tournament, pushing SSS Day 5 Event #28 winner Sameer Prakash Paranjape aka ‘Falcon_Prince’ to the runner-up position

SSS – The Millionaire Day 1C

A total number of 656 players entered the final starting flight for a buy-in of INR 11,000 on Day 1C of SSS Millionaire. Accumulating the largest stack was recent Destiny 11.0 winner Divyank Prasoon aka ‘mikkudiv’. Prasoon was closely followed by Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkid’ leading onto Day 2.

SSS – The Millionaire Day 2

The 3-day long tournament attracted 1,588 players with only 254 entries resuming on Day 2. The grinding continued for 5 intense hours and that’s when the online crusher Gokul Raj aka ‘Super Kings’ walked away with the enormous sum of prize money beating ‘JhingaLala’ in heads-up. Read all about it here
