Boris Kolev is a popular poker player, and has been constantly grabbing attention and headlines in the poker world because of his exploits at the poker table. The Bulgarian poker player has earned a considerable fan base with his exploits, and an massive amount of money as well.

He won his first WSOP bracelet in 2021, at the Event #88, taking home $511,184. He got his second WSOP bracelet at Event #6 in 2023, taking home $424,550.

He saw his first cash in live poker back in 2015, when he ranked 3rd at the NLH Grand Event of the Russian Poker Tour – Live Events RPT Cyprus & Turkish Poker Tour – TPT Cyprus, Famagusta, and took home $12,875. 

Since then, he has played some major live poker events and taken considerable sums of money home, including once having 7 cashes at the World Series of Poker in 2017, taking home a collective amount of ~$100K in that one year.

Since then, he has seen multiple cashes at WSOP tournaments in almost every year, until 2024. His last cash WSOP Cash was at the 55th iteration of the series, when he ranked 131st, and took $8,989. At the time of writing this article, his last cashout was in 2025, at the Merit Poker Carmen Series, Kyrenia, when he took home $1,900, ranking 41.
