‘BolAuntyAuKya’ ships LBS Main Event on Spartan

The Little Big Series (LBS) at The Spartan Poker is a favourite especially amongst small ball players who enjoy this series where the buy-ins are small yet there are opportunities to win a big payout. The series which took place from 21-24 December had a total of 18 events on schedule with a wide range of buy-ins and guarantees. There was the LBS leaderboard also in play for players to collect points and win some exciting prizes like cash chips and also tickets to high-value tournaments like The Millionaire and 2.o.K (Two of a Kind).

LBS December edition was spread over four days with some big feature tournaments including the Mini Biggie which was scheduled on Day 2 guaranteeing a prizepool of INR 5 lakhs for a buy-in of INR 2,200. The tournament was claimed by ‘GROTON’ outlasting 307 entries for an INR 1,62,710 payday. The entries made a prize pool of INR 614,000 which was collected by top 30 places with a min-cash of INR 4,298.

The second big event was INR 550 Warm-Up with 175K GTD scheduled on the third day of the series which drew 398 entries generating a prize pool of INR 199,000. Coming on top was ‘gigijhony’ who claimed the title for INR 39,800. ‘gigijhony’ defeated ‘Amod’ in the heads-up battle who took home INR 27,860 for the runner-up finish.

The showstopper was the Main Event guaranteeing a prizepool of INR 5 Lakhs with a buy-in of INR 1,100. This Main Event saw a participation of 538 entries in total. These entries made a prize pool of INR 538,000 which was distributed to top 50 players with a min-cash of INR 2,690. ‘BolAuntyAuKya’ emerged victorious in the Main Event for INR 139,880. ‘BolAuntyAuKya’ defeated Anant ‘Pro’ Purohit to take home the title while ‘Pro’ for the second-place finish took home INR 86,080. A big win in this Main Event also secured ‘BolAuntyAuKya’ top place on the LBS leaderboard awarding this player INR 50,000 in cash plus free tickets to The Millionaire and Two of a Kind for its next edition in January.

After this small ball series, all eyes will shift towards the biggest online series in India i.e. the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) at The Spartan Poker which has more than INR 6.5 crores in guaranteed prizepools on offer.
