Bhavye Mittal Ships NPS 2025 Main Event, Takes Home ₹94.26 Lakh

Poker player Bhavye Mittal has shipped NPS #191 Main Event of the National Poker Series 2025, which came with a ₹10 Crore GTD. The ME received 7,594 entries through qualifiers, and 702 players survived and moved into Day 2. Mittal took home his career-best score of ₹94.26 Lakh, plus an NPS gold medal. According to online research, this is his highest cash prize to date, and this win should be a significant chunk of his poker bankroll, as his lifetime total is around ₹1.5 Crore.

He qualified for the NPS ME through qualifier #9, which was a turbo format. Bhavye Mittal has been playing poker online since at least 2018 and has also worked for online gaming platforms like Zynga  Poker and 9Stacks. He has finished in the money on several occasions in his poker career, including taking home ₹18 Lakh at Adda52’s AOPS 2020 Main Event, where he finished 3rd. 2020 was a particularly great year for him, as he also finished 3rd in Adda52’s Full House for ₹8 Lakh and 5th place in Spartan Poker’s IOPC #54 – High Roller event for ₹7.27 Lakh.

Finishing 2nd to Mittal was NPS debutant Dhruvin Kothari, who claimed his maiden silver medal and took home ₹82.11 Lakh. Finishing third was Pratik Manjrekar, taking home his second-largest online score of ₹60.64 Lakh and a bronze medal. However, it is worth noting that the top three players cracked a three-way deal to end the NPS 2025 Main Event. Another notable name is Baazi Team Pro Abhishek Goindi, who took home ₹5 Lakh from this ME for finishing 30th.

NPS 2025 broke all records with over six lakh entries, giving away ₹104 Crore in tournament winnings. A total of 573 medals were distributed. ₹4 Crore in the NPS 2025 leaderboard, with Bhanu Prakash taking home ₹30 Lakh for the top spot. Add the ₹2 Crore giveaway from the Road to NPS promotion; PokerBaazi has given away ₹110 Crore in this NPS 2025 edition, surpassing their original GTD.

The series has highlighted several talented Indian players, including Zarvan Tumboli, who has had an excellent streak at the National Poker Series 2025. He not only took three medals in 3 days, but he increased the tally to six at the end of this online series.

Another key highlight was the National Poker Champion concept, where the top 12 medalists from across India compete in the prestigious 5-day offline National Poker Champion showdown in Goa, featuring a guaranteed prize pool of ₹1 Crore.
