Bhavit Parekh Ships Colossus ₹50K PLO At Immortals Festival

The Immortals Mega Poker Festival, powered by Adda52.com, currently underway at the majestic Deltin Royale in Goa, was always bound to spring up some big winners. While the series is a mix of cash games and tournaments, the first to ship a tournament in the series is Bhavit Parekh, who won the Colossus 50k PLO Event that ended over the past weekend. The total prize pool of the entire series is a staggering ₹2.5 Crore.

Bhavit Parekh’s take-home was ₹4 Lakh in this high-roller Pot Limit Omaha event. The runner-up was Rakesh Singh, who took home a prize of ₹2.5 Lakh, while the third-place player bagged ₹2.3 Lakh. The event had a ₹50,000 buy-in, something that’s not an everyday occurrence in Indian poker circles.

You won’t find much information on Bhavit Parekh online as a poker player, but those in the industry know him as a very popular poker operator, running games at Deltin Royale itself. Gutshot Magazine reached out to Parekh for a small interview around his win, and you can stay tuned for that soon. Several other events in the Immortals series are still to take place, including the ₹75k Freezeout and the ₹110k Main Event.

The series has a mix of PLO and NLH games, with sky-high buy-ins that make this a one-of-a-kind poker series taking place in Goa. Suffice it to say, the series has something for everyone, whether it’s a general audience or hardcore poker players. Cash games during the series have buy-ins ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹3,00,000.

The free rolls schedule had the first game on 25th August, and then another one on 3rd September. The third one is set to take place on 5th September. Poker players and fans are definitely looking forward to the games and for more tournaments like this one. The game is becoming big in India and Asia, with several big brands coming to the Asian sub-continent to set up some massive tournaments for decades.

Deltin has been the cornerstone of the Indian poker scene for a while now. Its own series, the Deltin Poker Tournament, is one of the few India-based events that cater to the Indian poker market and has made several Indian players famous. Adda52.com is also a formidable name in the Indian poker market. Stay tuned for more details about the Immortals coming out. Find out more about the Immortals schedule.
