Baadshah Live Tournament to kick off on 23 September

Despite poker growing everyday in the country, we don’t have too many live poker tournaments taking place through out the year. So, whenever they do take place, the best pros in the country ensure they find a way to get down there. Apart from the famous Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT), there are a few other live tournament series including the Baadshah Live Tournament (BLT) hosted by Baadshah Gaming, and they’re all set to begin the third edition of this series.

BLT 3 is the most awaited series so far, with successful events hosted in the past, where Aditya Sushant won the Main Event in December last year and Bobby Zhang won the Main Event in April earlier this year. This latest edition has been scheduled between 23 September to 8 October 2018.

The format will be slightly different this year, with Day 1A of the Main Event being hosted online on 23 September and the survivors from that flight coming in to Goa to play in Day 2. A total of six live tournaments will be played during the series, including the INR 35k Main Event and the INR 75k High Roller. A Player Choice event and Heads-Up event have also been scheduled. 

The proceedings will be taking place on board the Casino Pride in Goa and GutshotMagazine.com will be doing the live reporting of the live events between 4-8 October. Some of the top Indian pros are expected to be in attendance and you can watch this space to see how well they’re doing in the different tournaments taking place.

In the build up to the series, Baadshah Gaming has also been holding several BLT satellite tournaments online, and many players have won tickets to the Main Event so far. We also had a word with Georgie Thomas, Tournament Director of BLT. He said, “We are happy to host the third edition of the BLT. We expect it to be as much fun as the previous two events. This is the first time that Day 1A of the Main Event is being held online, and we look forward to see how the players respond to it. As always, we at Baadshah Gaming want to give players the maximum value, this time around as well, the event is rake free and all TDS would be charged only on net winnings.”
