Gutshot Magazine congratulates Munjal on his epic run and incredible win. His achievement has definitely made Indian poker players and fans proud. At the time of writing this article, Munjal’s total live cash is $148,395. Before this, his best live cash was in 2023 when he shipped the No Limit Hold’em – WPT Opener at the World Poker Tour Prime – WPT Prime Vietnam, Hanoi, taking home $32,838. Since then, Munjal has played all over the world, including WSOP 2024, where he was in 6 ITM lists, including 4 bracelet events. All these achievements certainly add to his popularity and his confidence of playing poker.
The APT Phu Quoc seems to be a good venue for Indians, especially Kunal Patni, who has been on two ITM lists and has shipped one event. He recently shipped Event #37 Tick Tock BOOM, taking home VND 93,449,200. It remains to be seen if there will be any more Indian winners at the APT 2024, a series that started on 8th November and will continue until the 17th of this month. However, it cannot be denied that each and every win of an Indian at a national or international level serves as an inspiration for aspiring poker players or even those who are just beginning to make their fortune doing what they do best – spend time at the felts.
The current iteration of APT is being held in Vietnam, and it has brought the best of the best poker players to the venue, making it one of the most competitive and, therefore, most satisfying poker-playing experiences. The series was founded in 2006 and has since taken place in some of the most exotic locations in Asia, including the Philippines, Macau, South Korea, Cambodia, India, and others.
