Avneesh Munjal Ships Knockout High Roller At APPT Cambodia 2025


Indian poker player Avneesh Munjal has added more glory to his 2025 by shipping the Knockout High Roller at APPT Cambodia 2025, taking home ~₹10 Lakh. This is his first title win in 2025. The event had 26 entries. Munjal had an incredible outing at APPT Cambodia 2025 and was featured on at least two more winners’ lists at the time of writing this article.

Earlier, he took $853 by ranking 26th at Event #1 and 10th at Event #57 of the tournament series. These massive wins have definitely added to Munjal’s bankroll and made him a more formidable name in the Indian and international poker industry.

He has added more than ₹14 Lakh to his APPT spoils. Munjal has seen considerable money at the live poker table, with his all-time live cash being around ₹2 Crore. His best live cash is $60,981, which he took at Event #29 of the Asian Poker Tour in 2024.

Munjal is fast-growing in popularity. He had his first live poker cash in 2019, when he ranked 79th at the DeepStack Championship Poker Series, Las Vegas, and took home $7.541. Since then, he has seen a total of nine WSOP cashouts, proving his expertise and skill at the poker table 

The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Cambodia 2025 took place from 2nd to 13th May at the NagaWorld Integrated Resort in Phnom Penh, marking the season’s inaugural stop. With over $1.5 Million in guaranteed prize pools, the festival attracted a diverse field of international and regional players. The highlight of the series was the APPT Main Event, featuring a $1,750 buy-in and a $1 Million guarantee.

Vietnam’s Hai Ha Tran emerged victorious, securing the title and a top prize of $155,225 after a heads-up deal. Other notable events included the $150,000 GTD APPT National, the $100,000 GTD Mystery Bounty, and the $150,000 GTD High Roller. The festival opened with the $50,000 GTD NagaWorld Kickoff and featured a variety of formats, such as the Survivor Knockout and Deepstack events. India’s Somashekar KM ranked 2nd in the Main Event, taking home ~₹1.32 Crore, his personal best till date.
