Asian Poker Tour Unveils APT Taipei 2025 Festival Schedule

The Asian Poker Tour (APT), sponsored by Natural8, has officially announced the schedule for APT Taipei 2025, which will take place from 25th April to 4th May at the brand-new Red Space venue. The festival will feature a staggering TWD 70 Million (~$2.1 Million) guaranteed Main Event, further solidifying its reputation as one of the most exciting poker events in the region.

Following a record-breaking start to the year in Manila, where the APT series achieved historic numbers in the Philippines, expectations are high for Taipei’s installment. Organized in partnership with the Chinese Texas Hold’em Poker Club (CTP), APT Taipei 2025 promises to deliver an even grander experience. With 126 events on the schedule and over TWD 126 Million (~$5.4 Million) in guaranteed prize money, the festival is poised to be a landmark event in the poker calendar.

The highly anticipated APT Main Event features a buy-in of TWD 55,000 (~$1,680) and boasts a prize pool guarantee of TWD 70 Million (~$2.1 Million). Additionally, high-stakes players will have numerous opportunities to compete in daily high-roller events, including the Superstar Challenge, Baby Superstar, and APT Super High Roller. The festival will introduce three new high-roller events in Pot-Limit Omaha, 9-game, and the Women’s Event.

APT Taipei 2025 Schedule

For fans of mixed-game formats, APT Taipei 2025 will feature 38 mixed-game events. Highlights include the Masters Events series, which will now incorporate Dealer’s Choice. New additions such as Stairway to Seven, Cry Me A River, Archie, Drawmaha 2-7, and Super versions of Stud, Stud 8, Razz, and Razzdugi are also on the roster. Pot-Limit Omaha and Big-O will now feature Double Board Bomb Pot formats, further diversifying the tournament offerings.

Following the success of the Women’s Event at the APT Manila Poker Classic 2025, which was hosted daily for the first time in APT history, the same approach will be applied in Taipei. The Women’s Main Event, with a buy-in of TWD 20,000 (~$610), offers female players a chance to secure a seat at the TWD 35,000 (~$1,068) Women’s Championship Event during the APT Championship in Taipei in November.
