Asia Gaming Genealogy Tree to take place on 16th May

Leading online gaming news publisher, Asia Gaming Brief (AGB), has announced the launch of its most ambitious project yet – the Asia Gaming Genealogy Tree & Reunion Dinner. The event is set to replace the Asia Gaming Awards and will take place on Wednesday, 16th May 2018, at St. Regis Macau (postponed from the initial date of 14th May).

The ‘Asia Gaming Genealogy Tree’ or just the ‘Gaming Tree’, is a significant undertaking initiated by AGB which will serve to map out key connections and networks within Asia’s gaming industry. AGB has joined forces with the ‘Suppliers Network Cocktail Party’, which took place each year during the G2E Asia (Global Gaming Expo Asia).

The Gaming Tree will replace what was supposed to be the 3rd edition of the Asia Gaming Awards. A cocktail party at 5:30 pm will be followed by the inaugural Asia Gaming Tree Reunion Dinner at 8 pm. The Asia Gaming Awards website now displays a message saying, ‘Asia Gaming Awards 2018 has been suspended’.

The Gaming Tree is an ongoing project that is meant to identify and bring to light the network of people who have dedicated their careers to shaping the gaming industry in Asia. It is set to become an essential tool for identifying all the main personalities in the industry, and their respective networks.

AGB has always committed to constantly innovating and providing the industry with engaging projects and platforms that make a difference. The Gaming Tree project will continue to grow along with the industry, with yearly updates to be presented at the Annual Reunion Dinner. This will also provide the opportunity for creating new connections each year.
