ASEAN Gaming Summit 2019 starts today in Manila

Conrad Hotel in the Filipino capital city of Manila is all set to witness one of Asia’s biggest gaming conferences, the 2019 ASEAN Gaming Summit. The summit is set to run for the third time and many acclaimed persons of the gaming industry are expected to make their way to the venue.

Asia Gaming Brief, the organiser of the summit, and its Director Felix Ng stated that their whole team is ‘excited’ to bring the ‘industry heavyweights’ to the 2019 edition of the summit. Over 400 delegates are expected to be present in the summit, including speakers from India.

A long list of key participants has been made which includes top companies in the gaming business including Caesars Entertainment, Crown Resorts, Melco Resorts, NagaCorp, Resorts World Manila and Thunderbird Resorts from the land-based sector. Online gaming operators of the region like Betcris, Ladbrokes Coral, LuckyNiki, MoPlay and Pinnacle will also be featuring.

Day 1 is already underway today at the Conrad and some of the key entities speaking today are renowned entrepreneur, investor and Walker Digital founder Jay Walker and TED-talks professional speaker Earle Hall. 9stacks co-founder Sudhir Kamath and Khel Group CEO Naveen Goyal are among two Indians who will be speaking at the event. 

Day 2 has a program lined up which looks at the future of the industry in the Asian market. The day will also touch upon topics like money-laundering, eSports and investor risks. Bonus sessions are also lined up which include topics like blockchain, iGaming and new opportunities for the US sports betting market.

The last day of the summit will see a roundtable conference hosted at the venue. These discussions include The Online Casino Roadmap; Innovation in Game Design; Asia Licensing; European Licensing Opportunities; and Future of Asia Sports Betting and Betting on India – a $60 billion opportunity.

People going to the summit will have a unique opportunity to network with some of the top entities of the industry over cocktails.
