It was the biggest day so far at the Asian Poker Tour’s (APT) ongoing series at the Pro Poker Club, Ho Chi Minh. The APT Vietnam Main Event kicked off a couple of days back and after two modest turnouts on Day 1A and 1B, the final starting flight saw participation in huge numbers.
Day 1C was the biggest day by miles, with a total of 243 entries registering on the day, from which 128 survivors managed to catch a bag after 8 levels of 60 minutes each. Local player Van Ngoc Binh emerged with the biggest stack of all, topping not just Day 1C, but ending as the overall chip leader going into Day 2 as well.
So far, we’ve counted a total of 204 players that will resume on Day 2, which will be played today, 7th July 2019, and registration will still be on for the first hour of the day, so the prizes are yet to be declared. Two Indians also managed to get a bag at the end of 1C, with Navlani Sumit Harikishan bagging 44,300 and Vaibhav Sharma bagging 16,100 chips.
