APT Philippines 2022: Kunal Patni Finishes Sixth At Super Deep Stack Turbo

Adda52 Game ambassador Kunal Patni has finished at the sixth spot at the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Philippines 2022 Event 16: Super Deep Stack Turbo. Patni was the only Indian to progress on to the final table of the event. At Blinds 10K/20K, Patni had a little over 10 BB, and shoved all-in from under the gun (UTG) position. He was called by Japan’s Takuo Serita from the small blind.

The banker turned poker pro showed Q9, and Serita flipped A ❤ T ♦ . The board fanned out to 6 ♣ A ♣ A ♠ J ♣ T ♣, giving Serita a full boat, and Patni the exit route at the sixth spot. The poker pro who ranks 10th on India’s All Time Money List cashed Php 62,600 for his efforts.

Sean Hwa Teik Chuan went on to clinch the title by beating Serita in the heads-up clash and took home a lion’s share of Php 324,300; the latter settled at the runner-up spot for Php 216,000.
