April’s Spartan Super Series includes Head Hunter and OFC

Spartan Poker, one of the few brands in the online poker industry in India that’s known for its innovative offerings. Their monthly Spartan Super Series (SSS) is their biggest series offering. It unfailingly attracts the top pros of the community and hands out cashes like crazy.

For the month of April, Spartan has again offered the SSS with over INR 3 Crores in guaranteed prize money. The series is to be hosted between 10-14 April 2019 and will see a total of 26 events, all with different buy-ins to suit different kinds of players.

The Main Event of the series is worth INR 11,000, and has INR 75 Lakhs GTD.  The event will be hosted on the last day of the series starting 6 pm. Last month’s SSS winner, Rajesh Singh aka ‘RULS’ earned INR 20,62,500 as the first-place cash prize on Spartan.

Other marquee events in the 5-day festival include the Destiny INR 25 Lakhs GTD. The event is scheduled to take place on the first day and will be the biggest of the day with a buy-in of INR 5,500. The PLO HR is also to take place on the same day with a guarantee of INR 20 Lakhs.

Two novel events called Head Hunter INR 12 Lakhs GTD and the Open-face Chinese Poker (OFC) is also introduced for this run.  While the former has a Bounty format and will run on 11th April, the latter will be hosted on 12^th April for INR 1 Lakh GTD and INR 1,100 buy-in.

The regular daily feature tournaments will also be hosted each day, except for the 13^th where the Warm-Up will figure as the biggest of the day with INR 10 Lakhs GTD. One of those feature tournaments, Friday’s Elite will see INR 50 Lakhs GTD, a huge increase from its normal prize pool. The Elite will be hosted on 12^th April 2019 with a buy-in of INR 27,500 at 9 pm on Spartan.
