Anurag Rawat has added himself to the winner’s list of Asian Poker Tour (APT) Phu Quoc 2024 and shipped Event #81: Hyper Turbo, taking home VND 66,748,000. He beat 46 entries to achieve this feat. The total prize pool was VND 196,328,000.
With this, the total number of events that Indians have shipped at Phu Quoc is now more than four. Another Indian who made it to the final table was Harsh Bharti, who was ranked fifth and took home VND VND 17,670,000.

Little is known about Rawat, but one thing is for sure: This title win has definitely added to his confidence and proven that he can play with the best in competition at various events. According to Hendon Mob, he earlier saw money at an event in 2013, when he took home ₹50,220 at the Indian Poker Series, Chapter 19 in Goa, at the ₹ 10,000 No Limit Hold’em – Double Chance. It is interesting to see that a player has returned to live and professional poker playing. Here’s wishing him all the very best in his future poker endeavours.

The APT Phu Quoc 2024 is working pretty well for Indians. Earlier, Kunal Patni shipped two events, and Akhand Shukla shipped his first APT trophy, taking the lion’s share of the prize pool of Event #65: VND 4 Million Super Hyper Turbo.
The Asian Poker Tour is a premium poker tournament that has been held since 2006. Since its inception, the series has taken place in various places in Asia, including the Philippines, Macau, South Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam, India, China, and Mauritius.
