Ankit Jajodia wins BSS MegaStack on PokerBaazi

It has been a really good run for this player called Ankit Jajodia, who has been cashing big scores regularly in online poker, especially on PokerBaazi. Just earlier this month, he had a couple of deep finishes in the PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) Autumn Edition, plus a high finish on the PPL Leaderboard.

In fact, it was just last week that he shipped the PPL BSS SuperStack tournament for a score of over INR 4.5 lakh and now he’s back with another title, shipping BSS MegaStack INR 5 lakh GTD, which is one of three tournaments in the Baazi Super Sundays (BSS) promotion.

The BSS SuperStack is another one and that was shipped by Abhinav Iyer, while the MegaStack went to Jajodia, who plays under the name ‘akj290’ on PokerBaazi. The tournament had a buy-in of INR 2,750 and this latest edition attracted a field of 215 entries, which Jajodia outlasted to win the title.

He added a handsome amount of INR 1,18,250 to his poker bankroll, making him the only player to win a 6-figure score in this tournament. In heads-up, he beat ‘brocklesnar95’ who had to settle for INR 88k for second place. Overall, the top 20 players shared the prize pool with a minimum cash of INR 8k each.

It wouldn’t have been an easy journey, going past some known players in this field, but Jajodia managed in on the night. We caught up with the winner and asked him what he feels after this victory. He said, “It feels good to ship another BSS event. PokerBaazi has clearly been kind to me this month.”
