Amit Kumar takes down DVS 7.0 Main Event

Their flagship tournament series is called Dangal Value Series (DVS) and very recently, the seventh edition of this series came to an end on their platform, which was scheduled between 17-23 June 2019.

The final day of the series was scheduled for Sunday when most poker players are active in India. On this day, they also decided to host the highlight of the DVS 7.0 series, that is the INR 11 Lakh GTD Main Event, which players were looking forward to since the last couple of weeks.

The Main Event had a buy-in of INR 1,100 and there was quite a lot of value on offer with such a low buy-in. Of course then, it attracted a massive playing field of 621 entries plus additional re-buys and eventually, the prize pool was shared among the top 72 finishers of the night, making decent returns on their original investments.

After hours of grinding on PokerDangal, we finally had a champion and it turned out to be Amit Kumar aka ‘pokers111’ who bagged INR 2,07,900 for this Main Event victory, and he would’ve been a delighted man with this this under his belt. He had to get past some really talented pros in the field before being crowned champion.
