Amit Kaushik Clinches the DPT April 2022 15K Bounty Title

The DPT April 2022 15K Bounty event aboard Deltin Royale was shipped by Amit Kaushik, who goes by the username ‘RagingBull’. He walked away with ₹5,57,300 in prize money. Kaushik made the call with 6h 9c while Rajesh Rajpopat shoved all-in with Js 9h. The board opened with 8s 7s 6c 4h 8h. The community cards favoured Kaushik’s he took down the pot with two pairs. This is his career-first DPT title. Rajpopat made it to the runner-up spot with ₹3,91,000 in prize money. This heads-up took place on the 27th level when the blinds were 75K -125K. 

Talking about the victory, Kaushik added, “More than skill, you need to be thick-skinned to be successful in poker. The tournament was good. I had a huge suck out on the FT bubble and entered the FT with 6bb. , I was the shortest. I just kept patient and waited for good spots. There was one hand I bluffed in HU, which I regret; the rest, I think I played really well. Kudos to all the players on the FT who put up a tough competition indeed. I want to play more live MTTs now. They’re so much fun in every aspect.”
