Aditya Sushant, Raghav Bansal make Day 2 of $1,500 NLHE

Top Indian poker pro Aditya Sushant began Day 2AB of the WSOP 2018 Main Event with a healthy stack of 139,600. However, it wasn’t a great start to his day, losing almost every hand he played and busting the Main Event, despite beginning with a good stack. Here’s what he posted on social media after busting out of the event:

However, Sushant is one of India’s best and he decided to look for value elsewhere, registering late to Event #66: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em and ending Day 1 with an impressive 105,900 chips, finishing just outside the top ten chip leaders. Again, he took to Facebook to post his progress:

Sushant made a late trip to Vegas this year and made an immediate impact, finishing 4th in a Wynn Summer Classic Event, while also finishing 9th in the WSOP Online Championship Event. He now has a chance to come out and try to win his second WSOP bracelet, fighting among the final 227 entries that will come out to play on Day 2.

Another Indian who has made it to Day 2 of this tournament is Raghav Bansal, who will progress with a stack of 45,900. Bansal was running hot at the start of WSOP 2018, cashing out in 3 events, while also registering a 5th place finish in a Wynn Summer Classic Event. Both these players will be looking to continue their good run and be among the survivors who will progress to Day 3 of the tournament.
