Aditya Sushant 3rd on Macau Millions ME Final Table

The 2018 Macau Millions has been on since 17th April at the City of Dreams, Macau. The tournament series had massive guaranteed prizes up for grabs, including the Main Event with a HKD 3 Million guaranteed prize pool. Apart from 19 side events, this HKD 3,000 buy-in Main Event was set to be the highlight of the series.

The 2016 Macau Millions Main Event saw a total of 2,343 entrants and the 2018 series broke records by attracting a record number of entries to the Main Event – 2,499. A lot of Indian players made their way to Macau to be a part of the action and quite a few ran deep in the Main Event as well.

A total of seven Indians made it to Day 2 of the Main Event, including Gokul Krishan (322,000), Aditya Sushant (248,000), Sumit Sapra (225,000), Zarvan Tumboli (60,500) Sahil Chutani (514,000), Abhinav Iyer (214,500) and Deepak Raina (26,500). Iyer already finished 4th in an HKD 8,000 buy-in event a few days back.

Of these, it was Sushant who made it to the Final Table of the Main Event, with the third highest chip stack. We all know that Sushant is one of the best Indian poker pros and he has a very good chance of shipping the event, when the final table kicks off in some time from now.

2018 Macau Millions Final Table Draw:

  • Seat 1: Max Menzel (Germany) – 2,720,000
  • Seat 2: Zhouchang Xu (China) – 4,345,000
  • Seat 3: Fangjie Chen (China) – 1,215,000
  • Seat 4: Chen An Lin (Taiwan) – 5,665,000
  • Seat 5: Wei Lin (China) – 1,135,000
  • Seat 6: Xujun Huang (China) – 6,750,000
  • Seat 7: Guigen Xiao (China) – 2,615,000
  • Seat 8: Aditya Sushant (India) – 5,050,000

Sushant is always making news in the poker industry, regularly shipping tournaments online, and also doing well in live tournaments. China’s Xujun Huang has the largest chip stack now, but Sushant is very well capable of covering the deficit and bringing home the title and prize of HKD 1,159,000 (~US$147,000) for first place.
