As the virtual felts of Spartan Poker blazed with some intense action with players battling it out for the ultimate India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) Main Event crown, Sunday night also witnessed the Main Event of the Texas Hold’em Championship (THC) on PokerBaazi, and other staple tournaments of Adda52 and PokerStars. Here’s what an action-packed Sunday night looked like:
Adda52’s Mega Suits surpassed the initial guarantee to generate a final prize pool of ₹25,10,000. Out of the 265 players and 237 re-entries, the top 55 places made it in the money. The min-cash stood at ₹11,295.
Mystery player ‘boosterx’ topped the table and cashed ₹6,02,400. ‘Dashamipoojitha23’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹3,51,400.
Adda52 Millions crushed the advertised guarantee to record a final prize pool of ₹26,30,000. The top 27 places out of the 150 entries and 113 re-entries made it in the money as the min-cash stood at ₹23,670.
India’s only female WSOP bracelet winner Nikita Luther aka ‘nikitaluther’ shipped this event for ₹6,83,800. Yohan Patel aka ‘AllInMaestro’ finished second for ₹4,07,650.
This event surpassed the initial guarantee as 879 entries and 903 re-entries generated a final prize pool of ₹17,82,000. The top 281 places cashed a min-cash of ₹1,780.
Avadh Shah aka ‘Sting240,’ Shravan Suresh aka ‘enterthedragon’ and Dipankar Arhat aka ‘dbelieves’ ended the tourney in a three-way deal. Shah took home ₹2,03,000, Suresh cashed ₹1,94,000, while Arhat pocketed ₹1,91,000.
THC Main Event had 998 survivors battling it out for the top spot and a share of the ₹1 Crore guarantee. All survivors were paid as the min-cash stood at ₹3,000.
Abhimanyu Mittal aka ‘AbhimanyuMittal’ emerged victorious as he took home a lion’s share of ₹13,04,000. Vasanth N aka ‘volkafilas’ finished at the runner-up spot for ₹8,12,000.
Sunday Special on PokerStars had 271 entries out of which the top 31 places made it in the money and cashed a min-cash of ₹7,583. Ashit Sharma aka ‘Cringing’ and Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘durrsanta’ ended the tourney in a deal. Sharma cashed ₹1,38,094 from the regular prize pool and ₹1,73,280. Mehrotra went home with ₹1,38,093 from the regular prize pool and ₹46,406 in bounty money.
Sunday Highroller on PokerStars was as usual a power-packed affair. The top 9 places out of the 82 entries cashed a min-cash of ₹34,809. Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘durrsanta’ and Laksh Pal Singh aka ‘B00MTilt23’ got into a two-way deal and added ₹2,10,315 and ₹2,23,144 to their respective bankrolls.
