WATCH: AB de Villiers Enjoys A Game Of Poker With Parth Jain

All hell broke loose when we got to know about AB de Villiers’ love for poker. This South African cricketer is the brand ambassador for online gaming brand Wolf7Pay. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star had a fun conversation with Parth Jain, a renowned content creator in the poker space. Jain threw a couple of questions at Villiers and the cricketer answered them like a boss. 

While answering one of Jain’s questions, the South African national revealed his love for poker and mentioned that he plays the card game with his friends back at home. Jain asked Villiers about what he makes of poker. The three-time ICC ODI Player of the Year responded by stating that he enjoys the card game as it involves a lot of strategising and doesn’t allow players to become complacent. 

One very interesting revelation was made by the 40-year old. He talks about playing poker with his RCB mates. Villiers mentioned that there are 8-12 folks in the team who play poker and one of them is Yuzvendra Chahal. The South African cricketer said that Chahal is pretty good at the card game and knows how to tweak his game strategy swiftly depending upon the situation.

Villiers also added how he has played poker with some New Zealand and Australian cricketers and mentioned playing poker with cricketer Mitchell Starc. Well, what can we say, poker does attract some of the sharpest minds across the board. 

The video stream then moved on to Villiers and Jain playing some poker games on the Wolf7Pay platform. It was quite thrilling to see the cricketer and digital content creator engage in a game of poker. 

Out of the 700+ games available on the platform, Jain chose one and it was game time. Villiers won the first hand with a flush of clubs, while Jain equalled the score with a flush of diamond in the very next hand. After a couple of hands, Jain was declared winner of the round and he looked quite ecstatic to win against the famous cricketer.

When time came to sign off, Villiers made it a point to talk about that one thing he liked the most about playing poker on Wolf7Pay. The cricketer who is fondly known as Mr 360 stated that playing poker on Wolf7Pay is quite unique as there are live dealers who are dealing cards and revealing the community cards. This adds a nice touch to the game and overall atmosphere while grinding added the Wolf7Pay ambassador.
