Karan Radia Nails Trending Thursday And Thursday Highroller

Spartan Poker hosted two high-value events last night, namely Trending Thursday and Thursday Highroller, both of which were shipped by Karan Radia. His cumulative earnings last night stood at ₹13,39,841. Other winners from the night included Mohit Mehta, Akshat Sharma and Harsh Dembla. Keep reading to know more about what happened last night. 

Trending Thursday – ₹21 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday had 464 entries in total, comprising 204 unique entries, 77 re-entries and 183 rebuys. The top 39 players made it in the money in this ₹5,500 buy-in event. The min-cash stood at ₹16,008. The advertised guarantee of this event was crushed leading to a prize pool of ₹23,20,000, which eventually helped players take home much more. The tournament was a deal between Karan Radia aka ‘Majestic’ and Chandan Arora aka ‘Flow Like Water.’ Radia pocketed ₹4,30,261 after topping the 464 entry-field, while Arora cashed ₹3,44,154.

Thursday Highroller – ₹25 Lakh GTD

This was yet another high-value event hosted last night. The tournament garnered only 178 entries which consisted of 86 unique players, 26 re-entries and 66 rebuys. One of the reasons for the entries to be lesser than the Trending Thursday event, was because the buy-in of this series was ₹22,000. The top 15 players made it in the money. The players who made it in the money took a piece of ₹64,080 from the prize pool. This tournament was again shipped by Karan Radia aka ‘Majestic’ who also shipped Spartan Poker’s Trending Thursday event. The runner-up in this event was Arun Sriram aka ‘vazharmorghulis.’ While Radia pocketed ₹9,09,580, Sriram took home ₹6,26,560.

The advertised guarantee was crushed massively and the final prize pool came up to ₹35,60,000.

The Summit – ₹15 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s The Summit was a deal between IOPC crusher Mohit Mehta aka ‘thejoker’ and Harsh Dembla aka ‘100crdream.’ Mehta fired two bullets and pocketed ₹3,74,000 while Dembla fired four bullets and cashed ₹3,70,000. The top 36 players made it in the money and took a share of ₹13,460 from the prize pool. A total of 264 entries participated in this event, consisting of 131 unique entries and 133 re-entries.  The advertised guarantee of this ₹8,250 buy-in summit event was crushed and the final prize pool stood at ₹19,80,000.

Godfather – ₹25 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s Godfather tournament is one of the most prestigious titles. This ₹5,500 buy-in event was shipped by Akshat Sharma aka ‘akshat03’, who clinched the Godfather title and cashed ₹6,12,500. The event runner-up was Rohan Bhasin aka ‘sailor85.’ Bhasin cashed ₹3,62,500 in this event which had 461 entries in total, comprising 242 unique entries and 219 re-entries. 49 players walked away with a piece of the prize pool. The min-cash stood at ₹13,750.
