8 Indians See Cash At Mini Main Event Of USOP Grand Finale Hai Phong 2024


The USOP Grand Finale Hai Phong 2024 is ongoing, and so is the list of winners. The Mini Main Event concluded, and a whopping eight Indians were on the ITM list, including Aditya Sushant, Siddharth Karia and Kartik Ved. Here’s a complete list of the Indians in the winning fray. The total entries for this event were 1,166, and while the announced GTD was VND 15,000,000,000, the prize pool was VND 19,728,720,000. The winner was Ma Haohui, who took home VND 2,835,000,000

It’s interesting to see a diverse range of names in the winners list. While players like Sushant, Karia, and Ved are household names among poker aficionados, players like Ayush Arya and Ashish Munot also show stellar performances at international events. To put it all into perspective, Aditya Sushant, India’s first WSOP bracelet winner, and Amit Kaushik, who saw his first cash only two years ago, are now on the same list.

This goes on to show just how fantastic the game can be. For the record, Amit Kaushik saw his first cash at the BPT Big Bounty at the Baazi Poker Tour in 2022, when he ranked 35th and took home ₹25,800. On the other hand, Aditya Sushant saw his first cash in 2010 at the India Poker Championship, Goa, NLH game, where he took home ₹10,000. He won his and India’s first WSOP bracelet at WSOP 2017 when he and Nipun Java broke down the $1,000 Tag Team Event For $150,637. The list of Indians in the winners list is an inspiration for poker players all over the world. It is also an indication of how many Indians have now decided to give their favourite mind-sport their best shot and are reaping the rewards.
