2021 WSOP: Muskan Sethi, Siddharth Karia Among Five Indians Who Progress To ME Day 3

The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has been quite an eventful one so far for the Indian contingent. Though there has not been a bracelet won yet, a good number of players have cashed handsome amounts at various events. But it hasn’t ended yet. The events at the WSOP are still underway and the Indian contingent is battling hard to bring the coveted bracelet home.

Day 2cef flights of the ultimate 2021 WSOP Main Event finally ended earlier today. Out of the total 1,810 entries received on Day2cef, 915 entries have successfully made their way to Day 3. Among the Indian contingent, five out of the six players who participated in Day2cef have progressed to Day 3 of the Main Event.

Player Ankit Ahuja, who busted early at the 1534 spot, was the only Indian player who couldn’t make it to Day 3. Among players who have qualified is Kalyan Cheekuri who will enter Day 3 with a stack size of 268,500 chips. The Telangana-based player has the 147th stack among the 915 players entering Day 3 and the highest among the Indian contingent.

Indian online poker pro Siddharth Karia has also made it to Day 3 with a stack of 63,600 chips. Karia holds the 793rd position in terms of the chip count. He has several domestic titles to his credit, but will he win this prestigious title too? Last but not least is Himmat Singh, who qualifies to Day 3 with a stack size of 51,900 chips at the 831st position.

Earlier four other Indian players including Abhinav Iyer, Aditya Agarwal, Vidur Sethi and Shashank Jain had also qualified for Day 3 from Day 2abd. That means Day 3 will now have a total of nine Indian players competing for the ultimate Main Event title. Will the prestigious WSOP ME bracelet finally come home this year? Well, only time will tell!
