Who Is TNPL Star Sanjay Yadav: Ramsingh Sanjay Yadav is known for playing as a batting all-rounder for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket. He is a left-handed batsman and also specializes in slow left-arm orthodox bowling. Yadav shifted to the Meghalaya cricket team in the 2019-20 season as a professional player. He made his List A debut for Meghalaya in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on 24th September 2019. 

In his cricketing career, Yadav had played 17 List A games, where Yadav had scored 394 runs with the highest score of 81. In the T20 format, the bowling all-rounder had smashed 533 runs in his 33 games. Regarding bowling stats, Yadav had picked 23 wickets in 17 List A games and 19 wickets in 33 T20 matches.

Yadav is indeed one of the finest hunts in the TNPL 2023 auction, Yadav, has shocked every cricketing fan out there. Yes, with a base price of ₹2 Lakh, the bowling all-rounder had managed to grab a ₹17.60 Lakh contract from Nellai Royal Kings.

Yadav made his first-class debut for Meghalaya in the Ranji Trophy on 9 December 2019, where he impressed everyone with his performance by taking nine wickets for 52 runs in the first innings. This made him the third-best performer in Indian domestic first-class cricket.

In the following years, Yadav continued to shine in domestic cricket and was eventually signed by the Mumbai Indians for the IPL 2021. Yadav’s rise in the cricketing world is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and talent. He continues to play for Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy and hopes to represent India.

Note: Sanjay Yadav is the brother of Sonu Yadav. Both the players had received a decent contract in TNPL 2023 auction.
