Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Update T Natarajan Tested Positive, IPL-2021 To Be Postponed Again: Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer T Natarajan has tested positive for COVID-19 but the BCCI (Cricket Board of India) said the team’s match against Delhi Capitals in the evening will go as per schedule.

Left-arm pacer Natarajan, who is returning from knee surgery, along with six of his close contacts, including all-rounder Vijay Shankar, have also been put in isolation.

According to a BCCI statement, “Sunrisers Hyderabad player T Natarajan has tested positive for COVID-19 in the RT-PCR test. The player has isolated himself from the rest of the team and has no symptoms yet. ”

According to the release, “The rest of the team, including close contacts, got RT-PCR done at 5 am local time today. All the reports have come negative. ”

Accordingly, “As a result of which tonight’s match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals will be played as per schedule at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. ”

The close contacts were found by the medical team to be Vijay Kumar (Team Manager), Shyam Sundar J (Physiotherapist), Anjana Vanan (Doctor), Tushar Khedkar (Logistics Manager) and Periyasamy Ganesan (Net Bowler).

The IPL, which was put on hold in May after several COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the bio-bubble in India, has resumed here from Sunday.
