The islandic nation rode on impressive performances from Dinesh Chandimal and Prabath Jayasuriya to earn a 54.17 win-loss percentage on the WTC table so far. They will be eager to keep the momentum going when they host Pakistan in a two-match Test series. A solid outing against fellow sub continental team will see them cement their slot on the top end table.

Pakistan finds itself in the fourth position with arch rivals India right on their tail. West Indies follow the subcontinental teams with the Caribbean outfit registering four wins so far. England are slotted seventh in the WTC table recording five wins in 16 games, with New Zealand slotted below the Three Lions. Bangladesh are currently slotted at the bottom of the table, having won only 1 game in their 10 outings of the World Test Championship 2021-23 cycle.
