T20 World Cup Ticket Resale Platform

ICC had launched an official resale ticket platform for the 2022 T20 World Cup held in Australia. While there is a possibility that something like this may be released again, it is very unlikely. This is because the T20 World Cup was originally scheduled to be played in 2020. Due to Covid-19, however, it was rescheduled to be played from 16th October to 13th November. As there was such a drastic date change, ICC decided to release an official resale ticket platform so that people who could no longer make it to the games could sell their tickets legally.

T20 World Cup Event Details

The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will take place in June 2024.

The West Indies and the USA will host the event, featuring 20 teams competing across 55 games for the coveted title of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 champions. The tournament starts on 1st June 2024 and will span the month of June. The final will be played on 29th June, 2024.

The tournament will kick off at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, while the final will be played in Kensington Oval in Barbados. A total of nine venues will be used in the T20 World Cup. These venues are Central Broward Park in Florida, Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua & Barbuda, Kensington Oval in Barbados, Providence Stadium in Guyana, Beausejour Stadium in Saint Lucia, Arnos Vale Stadium in St. Vincent & the Grenadines, and the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad & Tobago.
