We are just a few weeks away from the highly anticipated IPL 2023 auction, with several cricketers registering themselves in the mini-auction, hoping to feature in the league. Indian cricketers like Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya, amongst others, credit their success and rise to the highest stage in this tournament.
Many cricketers will be aiming to get their first IPL contract in the upcoming auction, which is all set to take place in December 2023. Recently the BCCI hosted Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy. Quite a few players like Vasuki Koushik, Ankit Bawne rose to the occasion and stole the limelight, with and Samarth Vyas being one of them. The 27-year-old was one of the best-performing players in the List A games and proved his worth in white ball cricket.

The Saurashtra star has been in excellent touch over the last year. Samarth Vyas was one of the top performers amongst players who did not participate in the Indian Premier League last season. He finished as the fifth-highest overall scorer in the tournament, managing to score 314 runs in 7 innings in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The 27-year-old averaged 52 for Saurashtra while registering a jaw-dropping strike rate of 177!
Samarth Vyas in 2022/23 Indian domestic season:
Teams like Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are expected to bid on someone like Samarth Vyas. The Rajkot-based cricketer is going to attract a lot of bids from the IPL franchises with many teams looking for such an explosive and selfless batsman. He is expected to bag a lucrative IPL contract after an excellent SMAT season.
