The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is around the corner and is scheduled on 12th and 13th February 2022 at Bengaluru, Karnataka. The upcoming Mega Auction will play a massive role for the players who failed to retain their previous franchise. A total of 33 players have been included or acquired by ten franchises. A total of 1214 players registered themselves for the mega auction.

Franchises have shortlisted a sum of 590 players for the auction, who have recorded for the important event, in which 228 players are capped, 355 are uncapped, and seven players belong to Associate Nations. Out of 590 players, 370 are Indians, and the remaining 220 are overseas players.

A lot of world-class players failed to retain their previous franchises. All the players have the potential to induce a bidding battle in the forthcoming auctions. In this report, we take a look at five players who can obtain the most increased offer at the auction:

Shreyas Iyer
