According to the updated schedule, India will face Pakistan on 24th October 2021. Both the squads have been included in Group-2 of ICC-T20 WC 2021. The T20 World Cup will be held from 17th October 2021 to 14th November 2021 in the United Arab Emirates and Oman. The first semi-final of the tournament will take place on November 10th and the second semi-final will take place on November 11th. The ICC-T20 WC 2021 final is scheduled to be played on 14th November 2021 at UAE.

A total of eight teams, including both Group 1 and Group 2, have already entered Super 12. Eight teams will now play a qualifying match in the first round and reach Super 12. These eight teams will be split according to the rankings. 

The tournament will begin on October 17th with the first Group B qualifying match between hosts Oman and Papua New Guinea (PNG). The second match of the same group will take place between Scotland and Bangladesh. 

Meanwhile, in Group B, the Ireland-Netherlands and Sri Lanka-Namibia match will take place on October 18th in Abu Dhabi. The top two teams from both groups will participate in ICC-T20 WC-2021.

All the matches of ICC-T20 WC-2021 will take place at Dubai International Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi and Oman Cricket Academy Grounds.

India was placed in Group 2 with Pakistan, New Zealand and Afghanistan at the T20 World Cup. After the first round, the winning team from Group B and the runner-up team from Group A will be included. The second round of Super 12 will be played from October 23rd. The first match will take place between Australia and South Africa, which are part of Group 1. Meanwhile, England and the West Indies clash on the same day.
