Asia Cup 2023 Squad Update, Match Schedule, and Everything You Need To Know: The Asia Cup 2023 tournament will take place in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from 30th August to 17th September 2023. On 2nd September 2023, India and Pakistan will compete against each other in their Group A match in Kandy. 

The tournament will comprise of 13 matches in total, with Pakistan, India, and Nepal forming Group A, and Group B being composed of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.

The final will be held on 17th September at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. This ODI format tournament will serve as a warm-up for the ODI World Cup in India, set to be played in October and November, after a five-year hiatus. 

The 2018 edition saw India’s Rohit Sharma-led team beat Bangladesh by three wickets in the final. In the previous edition held in 2022, Sri Lanka emerged as the champions after defeating Pakistan by 23 runs in the final played in Dubai.
