All the matches of the Indian cricket team will be under scrutiny with less than two months to go for the highly anticipated T20 World Cup. The upcoming series against Zimbabwe will also be heavily looked upon citing the comeback of 2 stars to the Men in Blue set up.

Shubman Gill had impressive outings in the ODIs against West Indies last month. He is expected to hold onto his spot at the top alongside Shikhar Dhawan. This would result in the returning KL Rahul batting at number 3 or 4 in the series. Deepak Hooda, has been impressive for the Men in Blue and is expected to slot in the middle order with either of Rahul Tripathi or Sanju Samson also getting a slot in the XI.
Axar Patel, and Shardul Thakur will fill up the all rounder’s department with Kuldeep Yadav expected to be the lone specialist spinner in the playing 11. Avesh Khan and Mohammed Siraj could be India’s pacers for the ODIs with either of Shahbaz Ahmed/Deepak Chahar claiming the final spot in the team.
