Fantasy cricket games usually let the players build a team of 11 players and compete in online competitions against other players. However, a new concept of 6-player fantasy has started recently. Unlike other fantasy games, this mode does not have any limitations as to how many players from one position can be selected. You can play with a team of only keepers if you like doing that.

While the 6-player fantasy cricket reduces the number of players you can have in your team, it also reduces the load of selecting a team of 11 players every game. You can simply decide on six players from a possible 24 who you think will be the star players from the game. As there is a reduced number of players, the concept of a vice-captain does not exist. You only get to choose a captain for your team which will give 2X points to your team.

While not many platforms offer this 6-player fantasy game mode, Trade Fantasy Game (TFG) are receiving indicators of this game mode being successful on their application. As of now apps like Dream11 and My11Circle have no intention of replicating this 6-player fantasy mode and only time will tell I they decide to eventually branch out into this game mode. What Other Unique Features Does Trade Fantasy Game Have?

 

As you can tell by now, Trade Fantasy Game is not another regular fantasy cricket app. Even the basic requirement of making a team of 11 players is different for this application as it allows you to choose just six players. Another thing that sets it apart is the payer cards. Each player has a card associated to his Indian Premier League team and his international team. For example, Virat Kohli has two separate cards, one for Royal Challengers Bangalore and one for India.

These player cards can be upgraded and levelled up from level zero all the way to level five. Upgrading your card does not give you any competitive advantage but does give you a higher percentage of bonus on proportionate cash winnings. These cards are called digital collectables. Another fun feature available for use is the ‘Wild Card Player’. The wild card player is an additional player which can be selected for a fee of 10% of whatever the joining fee is. This player acts as fail-safe for your team just in case someone fails in the game. The wild card player replaces the lowest performing player in your team. Having a reliable player as your wildcard can be a very crucial element while making your team on TFG.

These unique features are something that are becoming more and more appealing to the Indian audience. Many people have started playing 6-player fantasy cricket and the popularity of this game mode will only keep increasing over time. We think if it continues like this, apps like Dream11 and My11Circle will also eventually expand into a shorter form of fantasy gaming which features having just five or six players in your team.
