Temba Bavuma SAID THIS On Rohit Sharma And Virat Kohli

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma has shared his thoughts on the Indian team ahead of their highly anticipated clash in the upcoming T20I series. The Men in Blue will head into the white ball games after edging out a narrow 2-1 win over Australia last week.

The T20I series sees India take on South Africa in the first T20 at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on 28th September. The second game will be played at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, 2 days later with the final T20 clash scheduled to take place on 4th October at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.

The Proteas skipper claimed that the upcoming games will be good practice for his side as they play ‘one of the best’ teams. Temba Bavuma also stated how he expects the hosts to come out strong and lead from the front, while citing the X-factor in the Indian squad.

Temba Bavuma comments on Indian stars 

The right handed batter stated, “We expect them to obviously come on and lead from the front, which is good practice for the team. It will be good for us to come up against their best. We expect those guys to bring a lot of confidence and X-factor into their team. “

“This will be our last series before the World Cup and we’ll be looking to plug any gaps we feel that are there. We have guys who have been playing a lot of cricket and I guess we will be managing their intensity,” he added.

Temba Bavuma also praised the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma during the interactions. The South African skipper said, “Those are names with the big pedigree behind them. As you would have seen in the last while their confidence has boosted the performances of the team.”

“We also have guys who need some cricket under their belts. It will be to give those guys some game time because this is our last preparation in different conditions compared to Australia but still match time nevertheless,” Temba Bavuma revealed. 

Both the teams will be eager to come out all guns blazing and give it their best in the upcoming series. with their next outing coming directly in the ICC T20World Cup. It will be impressive for the Men in Blue to do well and gain positive momentum  ahead of the ICC event which kicks off in Australia on 16th October.
