He has scored two centuries and seven half-centuries over the course of his World Cup career, and his performances in the 2011 and 2015 tournaments were particularly noteworthy. In addition to his impressive batting records, Shakib also holds the record for the most wickets taken by a Bangladeshi player in all World Cup tournaments combined, with a total of 30 wickets in 28 matches.
