New Zealand Tour Of UAE Squad: New Zealand will tour the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a three-match T20I series from 17th August 2023 to 20th August 2023. The squad features a mix of experienced players and exciting young talents, including the expected return of Kyle Jamieson into the team.
Tim Southee will captain the side, with Mark Chapman, Lockie Ferguson, and Jimmy Neesham in the squad. Dean Foxcroft and Adithya Ashok have been called up for the first time, while Chad Bowes, Dane Cleaver, Cole McConchie, Henry Shipley, and Will Young will also travel to the UAE.
New Zealand will be looking to build on their recent success in T20 cricket, reaching into finals of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2021. The UAE are a strong side in their own right, and the series promises to be a close contest. The first match of the series will be played on 17th August at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The remaining two matches will be played on August 19 and 20 at the same venue.
