The bidding process for the new team started today at 11 am. In this, more than 20 companies have tendered to buy the IPL 2022 New Teams. Goenka Group, Adani Group and CVC Ventures are the frontrunners in the race to buy IPL 2022 New Teams.

According to media reports, RPSG Ventures Ltd spent INR 7090 crores in Lucknow, and Irelia Company Pte Ltd. spent INR 5625 crores for Ahemdabad. Rhiti Sports, which looks after Dhoni’s management, has also ventured to buy new IPL 2022 New Teams in the auction.

Apart from this, Manchester United was seen bidding in the auctions. The Cricket Board will clarify its position. The BCCI will announce the auction bid only after technical evaluation.

To bid in the auction, the annual turnover of the company or individual should be around Rs 3000 crore. In the case of a consortium, each of the three institutions should have Rs 2500 crore. The BCCI is permitted three companies and a group to bid for the franchise.
