IPL-2021 Updates: Spectators Will Now Be Able To Watch The Match In The Stadium: We have some great news for cricket lovers! The UAE is opening doors to spectators for the phase 2 of IPL 2021. The IPL will resume  from 19th September 2021 as a blockbuster tournament between the champions. Earlier it was reported that the BCCI and the UAE government had agreed to allow a limited number of spectators to enter the stadium. The organizers have now confirmed that limited spectators would be allowed to enter the stadium during IPL matches.

IPL-2021 Updates

During the previous IPL season, players were forced to play IPL without spectators. Keeping in mind the Covid-19  situation the authorities had banned spectator entries., spectators’ entry into the stadium was banned. However, this time some guidelines have been issued regarding the entry of spectators during the IPL. It is being reported that only those spectators will be able to enter the stadium during the match who have received both the doses of COVID-19 vaccination.

It is to be noted that the first phase of IPL 2021 was held in India which was later postponed indefinitely due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases. The BCCI have now therefore decided to organize the remaining matches in the UAE. The second phase will start in the UAE from 19th September. The Phase 2 will have 31 matches in 27 days.

Players and franchise teams have already reached Dubai for the second phase. The final IPL match will be held on 15th October 2021.It is reported that the players will be extending their stay in the UAE to participate in the T20 World Cup.
