I don’t find Rohit Sharma that impactful in Test, but one cannot deny that he is a beautiful timer of the ball. India is yet to fix its opening pair, but looking at the recent tours, Gill will open with Sharma in the 1st Test.

After Kohli, Pujara is the man who can destroy the Australian bowling line-up. Pujara had shown his worth in the previous edition of the Border Gavaskar Trophy, and it is expected that we will witness his heroics again in Nagpur.

As Jasprit Bumrah is still injured, Mohammad Siraj may lead the bowling line-up for team India. Siraj performed well on the bouncy track.
