ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023: Leading Wicket Takers So Far

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 will kick off on 10th February 2023, with the eighth edition of the tournament set to kick off in South Africa. The hosts are scheduled to take on Sri Lanka in the first match of the tournament and will see ten teams will compete for the coveted trophy.

 

Cricketing icons like Ellyse Perry, Anya Shrubsole, Stafanie Taylor, Megan Schutt and Shabnim Ismail set to feature in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. The thrilling action will take place over 17 days, with teams have been divided into two groups for the group stages of the competition.

 

Every side has been scheduled to play a team in their opponent once, with two teams from each set qualifying for the semifinals of the tournament. The top-ranked team of one group takes on the second-ranked team of the other group and vice versa.

 

Seven editions of the showpiece event have taken place since the inception of the Women’s T20 World Cup in 2009. Many records have been created in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, while few are on the way to being shattered as world-class bowlers look to set new standards in South Africa.
