One of the finest batters in the world, Australian media shocked the world after announcing the death of Symonds. The Australian veteran died on 15th May 2022 from a car accident near Townsville. According to the reports, Symonds’s car was being driven on Hervey Range Road, near Alice River Bridge, when it left the roadway and rolled. The officials also added, “Emergency services attempted to revive the 46-year-old driver and sole occupant. However, he died of his injuries.”
Runako Morton had a bright future for West Indies, but fate had another plan. West Indies cricketer Runako Morton died in a road accident on March 2012. He was 33 when he died. According to the reports, “He was the only occupant of the vehicle and was returning home from a cricket match. The accident happened around 11 p.m. local time.” Morton represented West Indies in 15 Tests and 56 One-Day Internationals, with his last appearance against Australia in a Twenty20 international in 2010. As a Test batsman, he underperformed, scoring 573 runs at an average of 22.03 with four half-centuries. As a one-day player, he had a better record, scoring 1519 runs at an average of 33.75 with two centuries and ten fifties.
Representing Bangladesh in six Tests and 25 One-Day Internationals, Majural Islam had a beautiful cricketing career ahead. Rana was 22 when he died in a car accident in Khulna. According to the reports, Rana was riding a motorcycle in Khulna when he lost his balance and collided with the bus. On his way to the hospital, Sajjadul Hasan, a local first-class cricketer, also died. Both players had just returned from a match in Fatullah, where Manjural had taken four wickets.
