Check Out Yuvraj Singh’s Viral Tweet on Rishabh Pant’s Century

Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter and congratulated Rishabh Pant for his fantastic innings on Sunday. The wicket-keeper batter scored his maiden ODI hundred against England in the third ODI and helped India win the white ball series.

The Men in Blue struggled to get going when they began their chase after England scored 259 in the first innings. The hosts managed to restrict India to 72/4, with the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav back in the pavilion.

However, Pant kept on going and forged a match-winning partnership of 133 runs with Hardik Pandya to turn the tide in India’s favor. While Pandya walked back after scoring 71 in 55 balls, the 24 year old recorded his maiden ODI century in the title decider.

The wicket keeper had a solid outing during India’s tour to England. He scored his second century of the tour, with the first one coming in the one-off Test at Edgbaston. Pant’s innings helped India chase down the target of 261-run with great ease, for which he was declared the player of the match over Pandya’s all-round performance.

After the game, Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter and shared how he was involved in a talk with the Delhi based batter. The former Indian all-rounder revealed that his chat with the 24-year-old seems to have worked out well.  He also went on to praise Hardik Pandya for his sensational overall performance on Sunday.

Yuvraj Singh tweeted, “Looks like the 45-minute conversation made sense!! Well played @RishabhPant17. That’s how you pace your innings. @hardikpandya7, great to watch #indiavseng.”
